ATS V/C codes on mine and I love them. Truck has never handled better.
I couldn't tell from reading this thread but would this swap be for 4x4 only? I have a 4x2 that sits low in the rear. Looking at replacing the shocks but considering springs as well.

Yes, the 4x4's have leaf springs front and rear. 4x2 has coil spring front and leafs in rear.
You may be able to use some F250 or F350 coil springs from the 99-04 series and a different rear leaf as well if you want some lift.
I've been reading this and other similar threads b/c I need to do a spring swap on my 00' EX-Limited V10.
Recently helped a friend do his; he got donor springs out of a 99' F-250 for just $135. Now sure what code they were, the springs were already out of the truck after a lift. His 00' EX-Limited 7.3L previously sat slightly nose-high. It now sits level, and is ~1.75" higher than before. He says that the ride is greatly improved, and so stable that he is no longer considering the Hellwig rear swaybar.
Is the ATS place that has been mentioned for springs located in Souderton, PA? I live only about 20 minutes from there. I've been recommended to go there by two sources, a diesel mechanic and a 4x4 shop owner who wouldn't sell me any of the springs that he had laying around b/c 'they're junk'.

I just ordered my X/c's Monday and should be here today. I did the X on the front because of my bumper. I did my rear sway bar first as it made a huge difference. Hopefully will get the springs installed next Thursday as well as some other things that have been sitting in my garage for the last couple of months.
I ordered and receive a set of ATS spring for my Ex. haven't installed them yet. For those who have swapped springs and shocks, about how long does it take and do you need two people to do it or can I do it by myself?
I have been contemplating the spring swap for some time now and feel ready to pull the trigger. Does anyone have contact info for Junior at ATS? I have searched the interweb and come up with a few, want to make sure I'm contacting the right guy!

It took me an entire weekend. I am sure it would have gone faster if two people were doing it the entire time. I also had a lot of issues with bolts that just turned into a nightmare. Getting the front axle lined back up was a PITA.

Me and my 19 year old (stand around and watch you work ) nephew did the front springs on a Saturday morning. Lining up the front axle against the stock trac bar was a royal pain. I used ratchet straps to pull things into place in several directions. The rear springs took another half day with my wife helping to guide them into place. Those rear springs are heavy and a bit awkward for one person, but I suppose it could be done. Plan on a solid day if all your bolts cooperate like mine. If you have a rusty truck, maybe a weekend. Plan to check the bolts for torque a few times. Mine took two re-torques before they stayed right.
