VGT looks good so far, monitor these when driving just to what it does when the truck acts up , by chance did you write the DTCs down ? If so post them up and I'll get right on it, just got home from a long drive work week Blaaaaaaaa , lol

It is still showing 2 DTCs but autozone didn't pick anything up. They said it would only pick it up if the CEL was on.
It's kinda ironic that the ScanGauge skips so many codes but is generally accurate on the DTC count. If you scan with a good computer based program, you'll see almost every truck has a soft code of some sort, "U" series body codes, CAN error codes, ignition switch errors, 4x4 codes on transfer switch or solenoid. Most of the handyman scanners at the parts store (even the more expensive ones) don't show these codes either for whatever reason. I suspect DTC count is a generic data point so ScanGuge shows the correct value there but doesn't have the power (protocol- doesn't speak the language) to communicate with all the modules and retrieve the actual code.
It may take a very good diag device to get the codes only to find they aren't related to the issue you're working on.
I will have to get the codes run tomorrow. My brakes went out completely in the school parking lot so I had to limp it to a shop. It's always something
Have you checked for wire chaffing, lots of places for wires to rub on through the harness , one of the issues that ford didn't get right , any way start with the ICP connection with engine running do a pinch and wiggle once you hear the engine stumble Bam you got it. Other wise a Contribution test for the Injectors is the next step, even though the ICPV is showing good it's when the wires get heated is when they start showing signs.so make sure engine is at least warm when testing . ( be safe ).
Hooked it up to a diagnostic computer today and everything was good including injectors. My friend plugged his SCT into my truck and put a different tune on my truck and so far so good it's like a brand new truck. He's going to let me run it for about a week to make sure but I think my tuner is the problem.
