Here is my 78 Flareside. My plans are Satin Oxide red, a little lower and different wheels. More Old school. I dont like the way the previous owner mounted these mirrors. I do like the ones on my 90 model, also am a fan of the Peep style mirrors but never seen the on a dent. I would like to see a few options out there. Thanks, Mike
X2 on those mirrors are not the correct ones or at least not mounted correctly. They look like type 9's, but the top bar should be parallel to the ground.
And the only way to get that, is to mount the lower bracket below the dent, and that is not the norm, at least as far as I have seen.
Type 4's & 5's are a nice small mirror, and just that, a small mirror.
Thanks for your reply, I guess I thought there would be several where I could see. Both stock and aftermarket. I will keep searching google. thanks again for your help.
