Cant hear flasher unit
Got fed up with flasher unit so I thought i would improvise

Looks like an LED on the side-view mirror housing... since a good driver regularly checks his/hers mirrors and would observe the LED ON the mirror indicating the signals were left on...

I would think a good driver looks at the dash too
