I don't remember from who or where I saw it in the forums about starter issues and it ending up being loose/missing bolts.
After driving the truck Wed night and hearing a grinding squeal making a turn and then trying to start the truck Thurs morning and the god awful noise it made, I knew exactly what was wrong from lurking the forums and reading things on here all the time.
I just want to put a blanket "Thank You" out there to everyone! This site, friendly and honest people here are a lifesaver to a new"ish" driveway mechanic like myself.
Just wanted to say it and also mention that I appreciate everyone's patience with me as well.
I try to give credit where it's due. (That way people don't look for me to fix it in the future)
At some point I hope to get enough experience to help others. I know that I'm getting a heck of a lot of experience but not to the levels of the decades that this site has.
