I am currently running a motorcraft (holley) 4bbl carb on my 460. i am wanting to get a new carb and found a new unopened holley 4bbl, 750 cfm with va *** secondary. the guy doesnt know the model #. do all holleys have the same mounting and bore holes? Wondering if it will work for my application.
Look at the choke horn for some model #'s? They should be the same as far a mounting holes spacing. Square bore and spread bore?
You might need a Mr Gasket adapter, I am pretty sure your 460 has a EGR plate that is square bore and under that plate the OEM intake is also square bore.
If you ditch the EGR plate you will need that adapter or a spacer to get the linkage to clear. Also make sure you do not wind up with a gap at the back side of the carb and plate.
