6.7 Exhaust changes...downpipe?

6.7 Exhaust changes...downpipe?
I'm tuning and eliminating emissions...I've decided on 4" stainless. Should I also replace downpipe to 4" stainless (not sure what stock size is?). I plan on having this truck for many years, that's why I want to replace everything with stainless.
Asking because I've heard some say should leave downpipe alone because turbo spool can be affected if you go too large ect...but again I don't even know what the stock size is. Thanks in advance guys/girls!
