My springs are weak too.
They are 5th on the *to replace* list.
I would go for the 3.00:1
The 3.07 is strange to me too, as I would think a Dana would be on a 4x4 .
How many studs per wheel ?
Is there a 6 digit number above the DSO spot, or just two ?

I am pretty sure it has 8 studs per wheel, and what is this DSO spot you speak of? Is it on the diff?

Okay, Had there been more numbers after the 52, that would tell me the truck was specially ordered .

That answers a few questions. Maybe the previous owner just bought it off the lot and never bothered to ask about the rear end...
