No headlights

Just bought a 03 F-350 dually today.
6L 4x4.

Headlights don't work , everything else does?
Dash lights , taillights , cab marker lights all work.
Headlights and front park lights don't?

I also see the overhead console is dead and shows nothing?

Plus the ignition turns without a key being in it?

Any starter help with any of the above would be appreciated.

Neither low or high beam? There are fuses for low, and high, two each. There is also one for drivers lights. It's also possible the headlight switch is done. You'll going to need to do some wire tracing and continuity checks. If both lights, and low and high are out, I would start with the switch on the dash.

Here is Yahiko's posts with all the diagrams for the headlight, driving light and auto lamp circuits. It also tells you the fuses in the panel under the steering wheel in the cab.

Hope this helps.

Any idea on how to tell if its the switch on the dash or the switch on the column?

Signal lights don't work in front , they work on the back and on the mirrors.
Driving lights work if you pull the switch on the dash.
Dash lights etc all work ok including the hi beam indicator on the dash.

So things are functioning just not the headlights
