Idle Issues
My '95 5.0 auto with 180,000 doesn't idle right. When sitting at a light, idle will suddenly drop down after a while. Real low and rough. Otherwise runs great. Sometimes idles a little high also. I've replaced the IAC, and in the past year or so replaced fuel pressure regulator, distributor, entire cooling system, and cleaned/tested EGR. Sprayed starting fluid all over everything and no vacuum leaks. Right now my CEL is burned out and can't find my code reader. Is the idle supposed to kick up when the AC is switched on? Also, will having too cold of a thermostat cause this? The temp needle is at the bottom of the Normal range.

EDIT- Found the problem. There was a small, V-shaped piece of grass hung on my MAF sensor. Blew it off and the truck idles like its supposed to
