This is a wake up call for all you geniuses that refuse to use your emergency brake.
Yep, I use my e-brake every time I back up to launch the boat! I drive my boat on and off and every time I keep a driver in the cab (with brake set) when I power on/off. Makes for a great peace of mind.
Well at least maybe he can get insurance to total which I know it is, then take all those after market parts and put them back on his new truck! Rims, tires, etc... That certainly sucks
Saw first hand of a 74 f150 that went completely under. Guy's girlfriend was pulling the boat out, left it in reverse instead of drive, when I saw it, the roof was a foot underwater. Pulled out by a dodge. Beautiful truck, restored and all. It was just left there after it was pulled out.
That is why no one but me has driven my truck since the day I bought it. I used to live 50 yards from a boat ramp and enjoyed watching people try to back in, get stuck or almost lose their truck lol.

Amen to that. I lent my bronco to somebody ONE TIME. They about wore all the teeth of second gear before they were out of sight. That was the first and last time I ever let somebody drive one of my trucks.
