Been awhile since I had to seek help. I picked up a 2003 6.0 awhile back went ahead and did studs, gaskets, delete. Was driving it and seemed to lose power, started coughing and carrying on blowing bluish white smoke then shut off. Ended up hydrlocking #5, Oring on injector was tore when took out. Put all back together, ran horrible, did a balance test with AE, showed #3 injector, replaced, ran horrible, did AE dropped #1 injector. So in process of replacing the rest of the injectors. Just wondering why it is or was dropping them 1 at a time. Ficm was showing 47.6 to 48.6 volts, could that be it?????
Yes on the Blue spring, fuel pressure hadn't got that far yet. Forgot to mention that while doing the last test when #1 popped up, that #2&6 seemed to be decrease on the contribution test.
Based on the numbers it doesn't appear to be a pump issue.... Fires right up with 1 turn of the key maybe 10 second crank if that.... Idles around 700 to 740 numbers increase steadly as pedal is depressed
Those numbers look good but they are not all the numbers you need to look at.
Icp normal with higher then expected ipr percentage is the indicator your looking for

Someone correct me if I am wrong but over 700 at idle seems a bit high, if that is warmed up.
As cheezit said IPR would be good to know.
10 sec crank it not firing right up. It's not unheard of but that is plenty long to crank if things are all normal.
Post up what you have warm idle on ICP and IPR.
That was cold after changing 6 injectors...... Took out for a drive today, all things seemed good made it about 1/4 mile truck died, tried to turn over while watching numbers got hydrolocked before ever got the numbers to show. ugggggg back to square 1
What is your definition of "Hydrolocked"? I typically think of a cylinder full of fluid (fuel, coolant, etc) and that usually results in a bent connecting rod as you can't compress a fluid.
I assume you mean the injector is leaking raw diesel into the cylinder, keeping it from lighting off?

As in cylinder full of diesel, turn key motor no turn over. Took glow plug out turned motor by hand fuel shot the hole, hydrolocked
