timing mark

Have a 1969 F100 with a 360cid. Can't locate the timing mark on the crank pulley. What sould I be looking for? TIA Deane

Clean it off real good. You should see TDC and and a few lines with 2, 4, 6, 8. I put paint on the line I time at.

If you want to narrow the search....pull the dist. cap off, point rotor at no.1 and look down at balancer. You should be able to see where the marks are suppose to be at.

Thanks. Cleaned it real good and used magnifying glass and saw it

Comparing the balancer above with the one on my 302. I have the same markings except I have a deeper grooved mark at about the center of the scale. The motor is in a 67, but I think it
came out of a 78-79 year model truck. Where should I be setting the timing too?
