Question on F350 build time line
Ordered on 12/14/15. Dealer says scheduled to build end of January. If this is true, approximately when will I see the truck here in FL?
I have the VIN but it doesn't work on Ford cotus yet.

Maybe end of Jan but suspect mid to late Feb. Depends on rail cars at the Kentucky rail head. You can expect on average a 2 week delay after the truck is built. Dealer should get an anticipated delivery date once it goes into production or built.
My 2015 took almost 45 days to get to me. Was built on 14 May 2014. Original delivery date was 28 May. Sat rail head for a month or more. Dealer got it about 30 June.

I've been telling folks 3 months from order. There are not guarantees though.

That is a good start to prevent disappointment for sure. My 2016 Fusion took 9 and half weeks to build and deliver from Mexico. I had a VIN by the second week of October. It showed in the plant over 2 weeks before it was scheduled to be built.

Dealer told me 6-8 weeks. But then they ARE car sales people.

Congrats on ordering, 2016F350in NSB! Send a PM my way with your VIN; I'll see if an ETA has popped up yet.

FWIW, I ordered my F250 on October 29, build date was November 30, delivery was December 19. Let Crystal help track your build - she is amazing.

Don't think I have enough posts yet to send a PM. I can't seem to see where to do it. But if you send me one I can answer. Thank you!

Any thing wrong with posting the VIN?

I wouldn't. A lot of personal information can be acquired from the VIN, once the truck is licensed.
Maybe you can email with Crystal?

If you have the dealer order number and the dealer name, Crystal can look it up.
If you have the VIN, you can try looking it up at this Ford website. Click on the "Vehicle" tab and enter VIN..
