I was just at TS a couple of weeks ago picking up T posts and hog panel for a new feed pen down at the deer lease. I'm 43 years young and my user name is because I like hunting pigs I even built a special AR15 in 300 AAC blackout that bares the name. As for a spring time meetup I'm in as long as its not during spring break already have plans then. I just missed TSD's dyno day & show and shine on the 19th because I was in south Texas hunting. I guess PM me or we can start a thread about a spring meetup.

If it was me, I would go with the 6.7. All of my Mech friends say that the 6.2 is a ticking time bomb, maybe worse than the 6.0's were/are

I am just going of my "friends" word on this subject, and he has owned and worked on all the "recent" Ford diesels... He was saying how the 6.2 is a slightly built up, double turbo'd edition of the 6.0. There are apparently fuel delivery issues, potential head stud issues (you think they would have learned after the 6.0), and other areas of concern.

Now, all of these can be fixed and addressed, just like with a 6.0, but when my friend says that he would never own one and would rather have a 6.0, it does cause one to stop and think.

On the other hand, I hear the 6.7 is amazingly good.

Edit: However, after saying all of the above, a simple Google search will show you that there are those who have problems with any and all engines. I am trusting my good friend about the 6.2, but out there you can find opinions for and against just about everything...

Maybe he was talking about the 6.4L diesel??? The 6.2 is a gas motor that does not come with compound turbos...
