First thing I would do is the most obvious, pull the engine cover off and look for leaks.
Check the PCV grommet for a good seal and check the Fuel pressure regulator.
Give more info about the van, its history, have you had any recent work done on it, how long have you owned it?
I would also stop driving it, but thats just me.

Gosh I hate brand new posters who leave out every detail needed to give good answers----makes it near impossible trying to help! 
Along with Nick's requests is this a raw fuel smell or more like fumes?

First step would be to locate the source: under the hood or in back by the tank.
