Dang....ya'll are planning a meet right near me. I will try to NOT forget. Id like to meet some peeps from the site. I think it would be cool. And I hear Brooklyn Bros has good pizza. Too bad im in the middle of a brake job on my F350 or Id drive it. I guess my Navigator will have to fill in.
Oh and yes....the Future of Flight museum at the top of the hill is pretty cool. Also an excellent place to do some planespotting if your into that kind of thing. I am!! You never know.....just might see a new 787, 747 or 777 take off or land.
Ive seen a couple of those vids you posted before. Very cool stuff. IIRC....didn't that plane crash a few years ago??
Congrats on your A&P certs. Those are a good thing to have.
That PBY crashed a week after I shot that. It was down in the keys on a movie
shoot and did a hard water landing and started taking on water. The clowns doing
the recovery from a barge did not rig it correctly and let it drain as they lifted it
and broke it apart. As I understand it they were only about 100' off shore and only
in knee deep water and she was still floating when they cam back in the daylight to
recover her. She broke into three parts.
All I can say is that is what happens when you let dipsticks that don't have a clue
put there hands on an airplane.
Looking good for me and mine. The kids arrival is still unknown, maybe before, probably during the meet. Icy roads don't help. We're getting on the road for morning chores now and judge the roads, but that Mustang takes ice like cats take to water. It's ugly. See yas all there. The truck will be fine either way.
