Belated good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. It's either 24° or 26.4° depending on which thermometer you look at. Better that the 16° from earlier. Some snow on the ground and it is still snowing.

Not much else today,,, Sounds like a great dinner, Jim.
It was mighty fine Wayne. Paying for it this morning, but it sure was good last night!
Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Pressure fitting on a hose under the kitchen sink let loose this morning. So Hi-Ho, Hi-ho its off to town I go, in the ice and snow, Hi-Ho, Hi-Ho........
Bummer Jim, Glad you were home when it happened. That happened to a friend when he was on vacation, by the time it was discovered there was 4' of water in his basement.
Quiet day here.....after church we had to make a quick trip to Bend.....which is almost as bad as PDX......just one stop.....then headed for home.
It did warm up to 35 today....down to about 25 now.
Back at it tomorrow.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Snow and ice is giving way to silver thaw, ice rain. Had to make a second trip back to town and then had to go out to the Casino to pickup my wife and bring her home.

Got lucky. Was making another pot of coffee and felt water dripping on my foot. Fortunately, it only leaks when you turn the faucet on in the kitchen sink.

I didn't do it, my wife did! Now I know why she didn't make another pot of coffee after she took the last cup!
To add insult to injury, and to prove that Murphy is very alive and very well in the New Year, I got home and found a note from the neighbor on the front door. Said my front yard faucet was a gushing geyser so he had shut the water off at the meter. Took the heat tape and insulation off and found the 90° elbow had split out. Can't figure that one out except for corrosion maybe. Appears the $35.00 heat tape did not get ruined.
Can't get the elbow broken loose and off so back to town for some FiberFix. Just finished getting it put on and have to wait for a 15 minutes cure time. Kind of appears that it wouldn't have hurt to maybe get two rolls instead of one...not sure, never used it before. Guess we'll see in about 5 minutes.
