What's your plan? Looks like the f350 is a chassis cab truck, and the 2wd f250 is a pickup. The rearend from the chassis cab truck is not going to fit under the 2wd pickup truck frame.
The pickup bed from the 2wd will not bolt to the chassis cab frame. Basically the chassis cab truck from the cab rearward is different and nothing will interchange.
The front 4x4 axle will fit under the 2wd frame after you drill some rivets and some holes in the frame and transfer the brackets over. But you will need to find a dually rearend from a pickup that matches the gear ratio of the front you have.
Welcome to the forum.
As Franklin said what's the plan?
If to fix both trucks rust issues you have your work cut out for you.
I am doing rust repair to my 81 and the cab looks about the same as your black truck on the rust goes. My cab corners are bad but good fenders.
Got my patch panels thru Tabco parts. https://tabcoparts.com/amfinder/

The plan is to use the black cab on the 350, depending on the findings when the red cab comes off. I'm stripping the black one first as that doesn't run and the 350 runs and moves. If the frame is too bad on the 86 I will use the 250 frame and rear. The 250 has a 3.08 Dana 60, the 350 has a Ford 4.10 10.25. Will change gearing if need be. I will start looking for 4 older wheels that have the cones at every other hole and lock together that mount with taper nuts. Or I may just leave the rear single and remove the Budd adapters from the front. There is a ton of rust from what I can see from underneath. The truck will have a flatbed when done, the bed from the 250 was totally shot so pulled it off first to cut up. The 86 really runs well the PO had the truck since 1990, he got it with 19000 on it and it only has 56500 now. The damage was done sitting in a damp barn most of the time. This will be a long term project.
I would say if the cab mounts are good on the black cab then the rust on the floor can be fixed, new fenders, maybe a radiator support, ck by the batt area and you should be good.

ent48f5 you are correct I'm across the pond from you in CT. Paid next to nothing for each, less for the 250 of course being it don't run. but I have a complete spare engine and trans.
Dave The cab mounts look ok I'm ordering the repair panels tonite. I want to try and get the black truck in the garage tomorrow so I can work on it after work.
I just moved down here to NC from Stamford CT in April.
One of the reasons for what we bought down here is a nice big garage - 2 9ft wide bays that I have 2 trucks and a car in and still have room to work + work shop.
Little encouragement:
Little over 2 weeks ago I drove this truck into the garage after I put the one to the left (parts truck) in. As of yesterday.
What I did today before I was not feeling to good and that was after a late start.
Hopping to have the floor rust done by weekend. Was also looking to paint the frame but don't think that will happen after how long it took to drill out the spot welds.
All the rust developed on the dump truck because it has a plow on the front. Been there, still doing that. When the roads have the most salt and are the most sloppy, that's when you are out plowing out driveways and parking lots.
Your best/easiest scenario is going to be to try and keep the cab/chassis frame if it's salvageable. Then put the black cab on it like you said. Possibly the black truck would have some frame brackets and stuff you can swap over if you need them, but any crossmembers will probably have to be shortened to fit the more narrow frame on the red truck.
Well, if you need anything, let me know. I bought an 85 F350 diesel for the rolling chassis only for my build. I've been selling off everything I'm not using. The cab is absolutely spotless and rust free. It would save you a ton of time cutting and welding. Cheap too....
Thanks ent, I got 600 in the parts truck now and I may need the frame. I need fenders and stuff like that. what are you looking to get for the cab? Where are you on the island?
I hear ya! I'd like to get $300 for the cab. If you pm me your cell#, I can text you pics, or look up what I have on LI CL. Ford truck parts. I'm located in Patchogue, 20 mins directly south of the Port Jeff/Bridgeport Ferry.
I just looked at your stuff. I already have the stuff to fix the floor, what are you building with the frame? and does it have the elusive coined dual wheels? and are you going to use them?
I have a 48 F5. The cab will be going on the 85 chassis. Yes, it is a dually, and I'm using the wheels. I have a 4-53t Detroit Diesel that will be powering it. I have yet to post pics here, which is a big demerit on my part! I will be watching your build closely! I am subscribed!
