78 supercab clearance

Hey yeall new to the sight and new owner of 78 ford supercab .im restoring it and I'm looking to lift her . I want to run 35s but not sure how much lift hieght I need to clear with out having to cut metal out . I also don't want her floating above the 35s like a monster truck . I've heard 4 inch will clear no problem but can I go less . also any one have pics of lifted supercab on 35s with 4 or less of lift ?

My stock f100 cleared 35" tires..
