I have a 2015 Limited and on the left information display, next to the speedometer, was a transmission gear indicator. As the transmission would change gears it would show which gear it was in. For some unknown reason the gear indicator has disappeared and I am unable find a way to bring it back. Any suggestions?
Initiate overdrive lockout by pressing the "gear down" side rocker switch on the shifter while the transmission is in drive. Then simply press the "gear up" switch once again to disable the lockout. This "toggle" should bring back what you are looking for.
The latest gen Expedition has a lot of small, cool features IMHO. Another is the set speed being displayed digitally when using cruise control when the tach is displayed. You can select either a digital speed readout on the left or tach, but when the tach is used it will still display the CC set speed.
I just noticed this on a recent trip to FL. I usually have the gas gauge and temp gauge showing. But I think if I change it to fuel gauge only, the gear selection shows up.
