Was working on a friends 06 F-250 and was trying to wire in some plow headlights. I must have shorted something out and the Passenger side low beam doesn't work. The high beam works and the drivers side high and low work. The fuse under the dash is good. From looking around, is it possible that the multi function switch on the column got shorted out? Any way I can test? Any other things I can check?
Forgot to mention that I unhooked all the plow stuff so it is just the truck. No plow stuff is hooked up at the moment. Just the truck. I have no lowbeam on the passenger side.
I had something similar happen on my 06' f350 6.0 and after checking the fuse and bulb, both were good, I followed the wires up and found that they had either melted and shorted out or shorted out and then melted right above the turbo in the plastic wire tray. It got about 10 wires in total. I just soldered in new wire and heatshrink and I was back in busines. Hope that helps you some.
Did you check fuse 47? Each low beam circuit shows it has separate fuse. Fuse 47 for right (passenger) low beam and fuse 48 for left (driver) low beam.
If both are good, change the bulbs from side to side to make sure bulb is not the problem.
