I have a Ford F150 2015, was out boxing day shopping and some morone hit me. I was hit on the back passenger side it was not sharp but a moon shape then the front of the quarter panel is also dinted in and out of shape. I have a claim but need to know if I can get it fixed for less. There is no paint damage.
Have to agree. That will be expensive to repair, sorry to say.
That is why i got tired of the hassel of shopping, during Christmas. I do on-line shopping now. I Start ordering before the rush. Only had two people to order for. So it is convenient. Best of luck on the repair!

Depends on how well you need it fixed. If it's a work truck and this is just the first of money have a PDR pop it back out as best they can. If this is a 500+ package and its supposed to look pretty, just let the insurance get it done properly.
Don't know why not. PDR is just paintless dent removal. IMO any job that doesn't require paint is PDR. I'm sure the Aluminum doesn't "pop" as well though.
Yes PDR works just as well on Aluminum. You just have to pay an up charged fee due to the headache that Aluminum is to work with. Not as easy to work as the old steel panels.
A seasoned PDR tech should be able to work the dent out. Trust me there is not simple popping it out. Especially with Aluminum.
From my understanding, PDR can be successfully used when there is no crease in the metal and there is access to the dent from the back side. The pics are hard to see any detail in. Take it to a shop and get their opinion. The PDR guy that I use can do amazing things.

You can work creases out as well. If there is no rear access we can pull out the glue tabs and work it out that way. The risk of pulling paint is there and needs to be communicated with the owner prior to starting the repair. Not as much of a concern on factory paint jobs. But it's still there.
I've had PDR done on creases. Looks a lot better than the original damage, but some may be disappointed if they want it perfectly perfect. I would rather not have the paintwork done.
