On the road.. help - high egt low power

Lol guys. I'm going to get some better tires for the trailer so I can pull 70 without worry.
I'll look in to the cost of a 4" exhaust. It all starts at a 3" dp, so I'm not sure how much difference a 4" makes, but worth checking.
I'd really like to get a gauge pod in also, but work is slow and the DD (Shelby) needs shoes, so I'll just have to play that by ear.
Yesterday "Monty" earned lots of love. Today we leave Amarillo up to Angel Fire, so we'll see how he does with some grades and elevation.

Made in to Angel Fire. Ran drive almost the whole time on the last 150-200 miles, wind was stiff. Nearly white out on 64 between Eagle Nest and Angel Fire.
Summary: Major thunderstorms, meeting a full on winter blizzard (for the south at least) a good 20 miles on straight ice. 6" thick pot holed ice and slush in Lubbock, 8500 feet of elevation, more snow and ice with white out. All in a rwd with open diff in a 20 yr old 300k truck. Not too bad.
All in all I guess Monty earned his spot in our family.
