1992 Bronco Ignition
I just replaced the ignition on my 1992 Bronco, the previous one was worn out and would start without a key. The old one came out with no issue and the new cylinder went in well but it will not return to the location that allows the key to be removed. It starts fine, the "PIN" seems to be set however it will not return to the "key off area, and release the key". Any help would be appreciated!

There's a part in the column that moves up and down to operate the switch at the bottom of the column.
This rod gets worn and the lube drys and it's a pain, and then it breaks.
Solution is to get into the steering column pull out part, inspect, replace with the Dorman part, and or just relube and replace.
Good luck.
