So I think this is a Dana S135. According to what I can find at AllDataDIY. The tag on the differential reads
4.10 V2C34 UB (The V is actually an upside down triangle)

My differential trashed itself today. I need to rebuild it, but since I've never done it I am a little nervous about starting. At the very ;east I need to identify it so I can do more research.

 

What truck is it in?

 

2002 F-350 Super Duty, Lariat, 7.3 Ltr Powerstroke, Black with Gray interior. And this really cool Lariat sign stitched into the leather seat backs.

 

Single or dual rear wheels?

Pickup or chassis cab?

 

Based on the trucks listed in the OP's sig, I would say that we are looking at a DRW, but he pickup or chassis cab question still remains.

If it is a SRW it is probably a Sterling 10.25/10.50" If it is a DRW it should be a Dana 80. Also the axle code you need should be on the door pillar, not the axle itself.
