My dads 2012 F150 platinum crew cab short bed, just started making some weird humming and droning noise in the front end under braking, and slowing down (not under braking). Like at 35-0 MPH I have heard this noise one other time last year when temperature dipped below freezing. It didn't make the noise all summer, but until now when the temperature got below freezing. It sounds like its in the driver side front. I feel like it has to do something with the brakes.
We installed new powerstop brake pads and rotors in fall of 2014 10,000 miles on them.
Truck has 58,000 miles on it.
Thanks for your input.

Hi dirtman48,
I'd get the truck into the hands of your local Ford Dealership; I'm sure they'd be happy to assist. If possible, I'd recommend taking a tech along for a test drive so you can replicate the noise you're hearing. Once they've diagnosed, I'll be able to step in and assist, if needed.
