2000 Excursion Build Thread...

Well I have my front end mocked up, just have to do the wiring for the HIDs, light bar and fog lamps... oh, and I need to mount a set of filler panels that I fabbed up... I like it though!

I just have to get the dent out of the bumper... then it's to the rear of the truck to install the LEDs

Looks good and you answered my question of how would only the front bumper look with the original grille.

Wow that actually does not look half bad. Would be interested to see what you're doing for the filler panels under the headlights, although I would even run without them.

I just bent some diamond plate that matched the shape of the plastic fillers. I'll have pics up soon.

NICE, looks awesome! What parts did you use to mount the headlights and grille?

Just a thought, but I am curious if you could run one of the "cut off" grills and just move the bumper up? Would be a clean look.

well I used factory screws in the lower mounts and I used clips and 10mm bolts through the top clamps, then added one brace. I did think about using a different grill but I like this one and the bumper is in the right spot to cover a front mount hitch... If I can find one...
