Lift kit options

Have a 78 f150 4x4.. it currently has what I think is a 4 in lift that has been on the truck for over 30 years. It rides is very stiff. I do 4wheeling and I am thinking of going with the 5 inch bronco graveyard flex kit. Deaver front Springs and new leaf Springs for the rear. I do like to get on rocks here and there so I want some flex. What do you guys think about extended radius arms? The kit comes with drop brackets for the stock arms but will longer arms be the way the go?
Any input appreciated
