What year is it?

They don't know. Cab style is definitely 65-66 but hood side emblem is 68ish. Did Ford carry this can over? Maybe it took a few years to get built and....well who knows, the owner doesn't

Ford didn't change the looks of the big trucks every year like the pickups and cars.

You're 1/2 right Hillbilly. The "F" series and L/LN/LNT/LT/LTS series were two different animals. The F's were always conventional cabs and the L's were different and made in Louisville KY. They were built past 1973. You may be thinking of the "T" series which was gone in 1973. As of 1973 the F's were considered Medium Duty and the L's were Heavy duty.
But you are right as far as F750 and lighter being the same as pickups and the F800/1000 keeping the slick's sheetmetal.
Doors:
61/66 F,T100/1100 (body style 81)and 67/72 F,T 800/1000 were C1TZ8120124U and C1TZ8120125V.
1967 F100/750 (81) were C7TZ8120124A and C7TZ8120125A.
68/70 F100/750 were C8TZ8120124A and C8TZ8120125A. Both replaced by the 71/72 doors.
71/72 F100/750 were D1TZ1020124A and D1TZ1020125A.

No F800/1000 doors listed after 1969. And 1970 was the 1st year for the "L" series.

I concur as far as I know the L means Louisville plant.

Thanks Jeff, figured it was something like that since it had the later side emblem style.
Also off on a rabbet trail would be the N series trucks with the slick style cab.
