Just keeps getting better!!!

Was helping the crew throw out everything Wendy and I owned and got up on the dumpster to snap this pic for her before they took it away to bring in the second dumpster.

Happened to
See something Wendy had bought for me a few years ago and I wanted to save it I was walking down the edge of the dumpster and slipped off and fell straight onto my deft my ankle. Got q ride to the veterans ER and they did 2 X-rays and the doctor decided it was just a sprain. After one of the worst nights of my life. Got a call from the VA this morning that the podiatrist looked at my X-rays and ice brow it's broken pretty bad. Putting in a cast now, keep falling asleep since no sleep last night from the pain.

Are you saying that you broke your ankle!? Holy crap Jonathan! Now you get to sit in a nice comfy EX seat and WATCH the house rebuild.
Seriously, I hope that it's not too bad of a break and you will be able to get around on it pretty well and that it heals quickly.

Waiting on my painkillers now. Had to get all casted up and the surgery scheduled before I could get out of there. Leaving the pharmacy to go to get labs and a cat scan

Good luck with the leg, I hope you bounce back quickly. I know things seem to be pilling up, fill free to reach out if you need to talk. We are here for you. As for the photography, if you feel up to a Seattle visit in the future, I will give you some lessons.

as much as it hurts you, try and not get hooked on them. i've been on them a year and i regret starting them. i just finally had a 2nd neck surgery hopefully to fix most of the pain i've had for 6+ yrs, but i wish i would have never got on pain medication...it's going to be so hard to get off of them. i'm not looking forward to it at all

Good advice from ufvj217, as much as they might seem to help now, pain meds are bad news if youre not careful. One of the guys I worked with had years of problems and issues with his son that hooked. Even sober now he has struggles every day staying clean.

Hopefully this will be the end of all this bad luck, might be time to play the lottery, luck has to change at some point......

yea i've been on them for over a year. mind you i take them for a legitimate reason and i obtain them legally through my doctor, that still doesn't make it a good habit. i want to slowly start weening off but i am dreading the day...its very painful from what i hear. and i've ran out a early a few times and just not taking them for even less than 24 hours you start getting very bad withdrawals. i try to warn anyone considering using them for pain to think otherwise. i wish i would have when my buddy warned me.

When it rains it pours, but it sure doesn't rain forever. Keep the chin up!
