Wow lawdawg, like you haven't been through enough already. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully things will work out in a positive way for you and your family. If for some reason they don't, trust in God to guide you through these difficult times ahead.

People kept telling me this in January 2014 after a life changing event & it took a couple months for me to see the reason for what happened to me.
Since then I was on a quest for a major life change & 2 months ago I finally completed that goal.

Thank you fellas, still dont know anything yet, will likely be a few months. Some guys here know im a cop at a low paying department, 16 an hr and im a Sgt. I got hurt really bad in 2013 in a wreck when a fleeing felon hit me head on. I was ejected and fractured 5 vertebrae in my thoracic, 2 compression and 5 spineous process fracctures. I hurt every day and have been through some grueling treatments. RF procedures are not fun. Well the car that hit me was an Enterprise rental, they are denying coverage saying they dont have to pay because it was being used in a crime. It sounds rediculous but they have a strong defense. Its win or lose, all or nothing for me. If i lose i get zero, if i win im set for life. Im really concerned for my ability to provide for my family, as im genuinely hurt. The only thing I know how to do aside from being a cop is carpentry, and i cant go back to that either. And alot of places wont hire me now because im a liability with my back all messed up. My department has no insurance, and illegally didnt pay into workmans comp which i found out after the wreck. If i lose, i really dont know what im gonna do. If i lose I will find something if i have to, but i know whatever it is, it wont be much of a career. Being a cop is what i love to do, despite the bs we deal with, i love it and im really good at it. Im just affraid im gonna end up a security guard somewhere, stuck in a job for life living check to check.
