A few leaks

So I have 2 leaks currently. One is out of the front of the rear diff by driveshaft. Am I correct I. Assuming this is the rear pinion seal. Also missing boot at front of shaft. Anyone know what could be dry there now and where I can find replacement boot? Also my steering stabilizer appears to be covered in coolant but I see no leaks anywhere. Also in the case I misidentified the fluid it's yellow so could that be the stabilizer is busted?

I'd concur with the leaking pinion seal out back.

The missing boot covers the slip joint in the driveshaft, which can be removed and pulled apart and regressed. There's a write up in the tech sticky folder up top.

I'd image you could substitute a shock boot if the diameter matches up.

Judging by the corrosion in the photos your Ex has to endure some rather harsh operating conditions. I would first pull that joint apart and make sure the tolerances are still acceptable and then lube it up and put the correct slip joint boot on to keep out what ever is eating the rest of your excursion

you want to use crimp clamps as they are ideal suited for rotating assemblies so you will want a pair of crimp clamp pliers to install them

I like the Knipex line of pliers. edit.... I just looked up the oitker pliers and they are made for them by knipex lmao. I guess oitker sticks to what they do best and that is making the actual clamps

or stop by your local driveshaft shop and have them throw one on as they will

As noted a shock boot will work for awhile but they are pretty thin and the rotation will wear them out much faster then the correct boot. for a clamp you can use some bailing wire and twist the ends to tighten. it will get you by for awhile.
