Do I have to remove my fuel filter and bowl to attempt a repair on my HPOP leak?
Thanks
It depends on where the leak is. I had an o-ring fail on the plug at the bottom of the HPOP and was able to complete the repair without fuel bowl removal.

I had the same thing......unfortunately I was not wise to the repair at the time and the dealer charged me 900 bucks for the O-ring fix on the HPOP.
I removed and rebuilt hpop without removing fuel bowl. Although would have been easier with it out. There are videos from diesel Tech Ron on you tube.
Exactly! I have done it both ways. Removing it is easier. Takes about 10-15 mins. If you remove it, just make sure you have the sleeves for the fuel lines on hand. Sometimes the old ones leak if reused. It would be a great time to rebuild it. Sleeves are included in the kit below.
