Beeping noise
Hey guys, so my grandson comes home today saying his truck 2000 f- 150 4x is making a beeping sound at least for a couple months, well sure enough it sounds like the seat belt alarm / beep when the belt is not put on. The sound still did it when both front belts were in place , it will stop after 15 min of driving but will come back from time to time, every time you stop and then restart same thing. No dash wrench lights come on when it beeps. Thanks in advance

Both seat belt latches have switches in them.
Normally if no passenger sets in their seat, that belt is ignored.
On the driver side, if the belt is not latched, the red release, if pushed once will cancel the belt alarm.
If these don't work, that circuit has an open.
Remember, the seats have a sensors in them that signals the system for belt alarms and even power window operation as long as the sensor detects enough weight few realize is present.
The belt alarm is powered by a fuse that also operates the OD button function, so if that works the fuse is ok.
Good luck.
