Identifying a Transmission
I have an 82 F-100 with an inline 6. It has a 3 speed on the floor with OD. I am having a hard time identifying the transmission type. I need to put some new seals on it as it is leaking from the rear and also when I replaced the clutch the reverse lights quit working. If anyone can help by telling me what type of transmission this is I would be very greatful. Also if anyone knows where to get skematic diagrams for this type of transmission that would also help alot. Thanks

Identifying a Transmission
Do you have to push the shifter down and then up to your left to go into reverse? If so you have a Single Rail Overdrive or SROD. I have this same transmission in my 82 Bronco.
