I have an ongoing problem with chatter when moving from a stop and also when downshifting.I rpalced the original clutch because of a broken throwout bearing. It was very smooth, just hard to shift. I replaced the clutch twic since then, and today went to an 11 inch. I have also replaced the flywheel, motor mounts, and pilot bearing. The motor mounts were the last change, and that helped some, but its still there. Also, since going to the 11 inch, I have lost "pedal", it seems to release right off the floor. Will an adjustable master cylinder pushrod help this? (Its a hydraulic system) Sorry for being so long, but I really need help.

I own a 94 150 4.9 5spd. I have also installed a new 11" clutch as you did.
There is a grommet at the cluch linkage going to the master cylinder that will wear and cause difficulty in bleeding this clutch system properly. Or you might just have to bleed out the last remain air bubbles from your new cluth installation. This may help your hard to shift problem.
BUT my new clutch also chatters in first gear as the old one did and i also still have a vibration in first gear thats driving me nuts.

had the same problem . had to replace the part the the input shaft comes out of and the throwout bearing rides on.
The original was aluminum or magnesium, the replacement part is steel!!
This part is on front of tranny in the bellhousing.
