I converted my Full time 4WD to Locking Hubs. The Problem that I am having is when I put her in 4 Wheel (either high or low) the transfer case tends to jump out of gear. I have adjusted and readjusted linkage with no luck. Anyone have any suggestions?
I have a NP205. (1975 F-250) I was wondering if I might have left something out when I installed the conversion kit. All of the gears looked good very little wear. Don't really know where to go from here. Keep tinkering I guess.
I think for Dodge this is true, but Ford made them both part-time. Or was it only used as part-time for a few years then went back to full-time. I am thinking that Dodge and maybe Chevy had the full-time but not Ford, could be wrong.
Another edit: It looks like I have wasted space here, yet again. Just got off the phone with a neighbor - The xfer case I was thinking of had already been modified with the kit before we worked on the truck.
