hey all i haven't been on the site for awhile but now i have finally decided to get to work on getting my bronco back on the road, and i am going to rebuild the tranny myself, is there anything to watch out for when i first start tearing it apart, also is there pointers you guys could help me on?? i am going to buy a manual to help me when rebuilding it but what else is there to look for?? the truck is an 89 EB fullsize Bronco with a 302 and an aod

I am really in need of some pointers........PLEASE, is it possible to get the AOD pump out of the transmission without taking the valve body and stuff off of the bottom and taking the servos/accuators out?? or are the supposed to be catching and holding it in
