Does anyone know where I could get my hands on an aftermarket A/C system that would fit a 1975 F-250 390. Most of the websites that I have came across do not offer a system for this year of Ford.
I got one for my '74 Hi-Boy from Arizona Air at ackits.com and like it a lot, altho it's a little noisy and was a handful to install, but good results overall. I wanted to retain the fresh air intake into the cab, and some of the retrofit kits don't allow that. As our beloved moderator says, just do a search and you'll get more hits than you can handle!

I used the search function and found as promised, Several posts on this topic and was able to find a website that offers a Retro-fit system that will fit my truck.
Hey Stephenw; Was that AC kits system you installed an AC only unit ? And if so did it fit behind the glove box door? I also have been trying to decide on a AC system.

Jeff,
The unit that I installed is totally separate from the OEM "heater box", and simply re-circulates the cab air. I was adamant that I wanted to retain a fresh air intake for the heater and defrost, and the other combination retrofits that I found all deleted the fresh air intake It was a real trial to literally "stuff" in between the dash and OEM heater box, and I lost most of the glove box in the process. Just wish I had been smart enough to order the truck with factory A/C way back in '74!
Any other questions, just fire away!
