Low Emission Vehicle
I recently purchased a 2002 Ford F150. I noticed that it has a sticker on the side window that says "Low Emission Vehicle". It has the 4.6 V8 in it. I am going to purchase a new exhaust system in it. I was wondering what the Low Emission Vehicle thing was all about? Would it factore in with any performance parts that I might purchase, especially the exhaust system?
Any information would greatly help me.

Low Emission Vehicle
The LEV (Low Emission Vehicle) status that your truck has means that Ford Motor Co. Certified the emissions of that model to meet the LEV standards. Unless you are changing the catalytic converters there should be no impact.
