I don't have any pics of sawing the donor in half, or the "marriage" of the 2 parts.
I cut the body off behind the doors, but leaving the B pillars and entire floor intact.
The delivery body had a wooden sub structure which was all missing or rotten, so I wanted to use as much of the donor as possible.
The floor was the perfect width, and everything fit together pretty well. While the floor is not correct for a delivery....but it is a solid floor!

Nice!! I don't see a problem doing away with the wood. This is going to be a great project to follow.

Been pecking away at this when I have time. Finish welding the roof joints and repairing some rust in the wheel wells. Also attaching the outer shell to the floor.

I have other projects in the shop, so this one gets worked on in my "extra" time....

More welding and dinkin around......

As I mentioned before, the wood in and around the rear door was all rotted away, so I have been replacing it with steel. Today I finally got the door to swing on it's hinges....a major milestone for this heap.
Still a ways to go on fitting the door, but nice to make some progress!

Last week we decided to hang some fenders on it to see how everything fit together. Just temporary, but gives us a visual.....

Wow, I didn't realize the rear fenders were that different for the sedan delivery. Do you have a correct set of fenders or do you need top make those as well?
