Are you looking for an upgrade or just a stock replacement?

OEM: $337 - $427 Depends on drive type and configuration
Redhead (upgrade) $380 : Red-Head Steering Gear Box 97-09 Ford F-250 / F-350

I wouldn't buy a box store reman or other.

This is where you roll the dice.

The last ones that I have gotten from NAPA are/were reman'ed by Cardone IIRC. Two have leaked and one of those had a roar, not the standard FORD whine. FORD is the only source for "new" as far as I know.

I believe the reman's go for about $60 and take about an hour to install. After a couple of those if you luck is similar, you'll wish you had purchased new OEM

Advance will loan the puller with a refundable deposit. Get the one that has the clam shell type and sleeve that goes around the clam shell, otherwise you may find you'll have to replace the pulley.

OEM Reman $137 on RockAuto
Other reman's between $27 and $55.
Direct from Fordparts. $170ish. Doesn't specify new or reman.
Aftermarkets "upgrades" run about $150 and up.

The last time I asked about one at a dealer, they told me all they were able to get were reman units. I don't know if that was a temporary thing, but I sure hope so. There are an awful lot of these pumps in service.

I was told by the dealer you can't get new one's anymore. No longer manufactured and supply is mostly exhausted. I was looking into this a few months ago.

Best online place I've found for OEM parts is parts.com. I have always had good luck with parts for my Mercedes, with the best pricing on OEM parts. Now, while I haven't purchased anything yet from them for my F250, I see a PS pump for $122. Might be worth looking into: https://www.parts.com/index.cfm?fuse...ESEL-OEM-Parts

I looked on the Parts.com website but do not see info on warrenty of parts. Any idea on that.. the price is good on the Power Steering pump for sure, but wonder if they are foreign made??

My experience with buying Mercedes parts from them is that everything is OEM, Mercedes Benz factory stamped parts. I presume that it would be the same with Ford parts. The number for the pump in that link I posted is an OEM Ford part number. As far as warranty goes, I would guess that it's the same as what you'd get over a dealership parts counter.
