Heater Core Removal
Pretty sure the heater core is going in my 2009 F-150 5.4L. She's got very odd musty odor, at idle its fine but once I start to drive it starts throwing coolant onto the windshield. It is however still blowing hot.
I want to tackle this job myself but I am going to need a step by step or a service manual. I've searched this site and google for most of the morning but still no luck for this era of F-150. Found a dead link on this site, but nothing that works.
I've tracked down both online service manual for Haynes and Helm, in past experiences I've been disappointed with Hyanes for lack of detail, I've never used Helm. Any opinions here?
Also I'm not 100% positive that it's the heater core, my problem is I'm up North at -15c and a two hour drive to any dealer to have it pressure tested. Does anyone think it could be something else small that I could check first?

Other than those I haven't found much. I heard of a well written "How To" Microsoft Word Document but haven't found it yet. Got the part on order for Sunday, haven't ordered any manuals yet.
