Transmission/engine problems

OK guys I need some help. I put a new transmission in my 89 f150 5.0 and I was told I had to pressurise it to my motor so I did but the fitting broke off in my transmission and I couldn't get it out so I put jb weld on it and it didn't leak so we went ahead and changed the valve and intake gasket and thermostat and went to drive it and it won't shift out of second and it loads up high at low rpms but will run fine when you get on it but still won't shift. Need help asap please

What trans?
What broke?

Whoever told you to "pressurise" the trans is an idiot, you NEVER force anything together, if it doesn't go easily something is wrong.
