5r55e problems

truck has periodicaly had 2-3 shift problems revs between shifts 3or4 times in last year.than last itme totaly went into netural and od light flashins. shut off ,restarted and allok for about 3 weeks.then didit again and only way to get to move was use 2nd gear.pulled valve body down and found gasket on top of plate blown .replaced both gaskets but didn't change problem. reverse and in drive have to rev to get to engauge but if you move slector to 2 or low will fulley engauge into gear and shift ok
any suguestions lost at this point ??

try some Sea Foam Trans Tune Transmission Treatment. some ppl have posted good reviews that it helps with same issue

'02 3.0 auto with flashing OD and code that shows is p1780. I have flare from 1-2 shift and I don't feel any 1st gear braking. Feels like truck starts in 2nd gear or that there is very little difference between the first two gears. Can a blown valve body gasket cause the p1780 code? 150k miles but trans was rebuilt last year. Thanks for any feedback.
