Lol. First time my vacuum pump went I was headed straight for a brick wall. My heart skipped more than one beat while I stood on that pedal. I stopped about 6" short of hitting that wall.

First time mine went out I was pulling the 5th wheel and my wife asked why I was almost standing up! I'm surprised Ford hasn't been sued over that darn thing.
So.... I'm home sick, and tried installing the power steering pump, well... Not paying to much attention I put the pully on backwards.... I feel really dumb lol its not fully o, only half way. Anyone have any tips on removing it?
Use the same tool you used (well, should have used) to install it.
I used the correct tool to install, problem is, its backwards, which means no lips for the puller to grab on to. I'm just using a three arm puller, pulling the thing off and getting a new pulley.
Well I've had it, only way this thing is coming off is remove half the front end. And it aint worth the time to do that, I'm cutting the pully off and buying another pump, I'm really pissed with myself about this. But let this be a lesson to anyone who may stumble on this thread in the future.
