There are signs that the El Nino is starting to lighten up and if that happens in December it should be a cold snowy winter. Check out the video I posted starting around 7:44.

It will be cold and snow that is a given, it's winter. But how cold and how much snow is the question. Every forecast that I have seen for long term is warmer than avg. with normal precip. But we can't trust the weather guessers now can we.

I kind of question that temp map how the cold will get down south with it locked up north. Unless because the el nino won't let the warmer gulf air surge north to warm the southern states I thought the North East was supposed to be a little above normal. I don't mind a couple degree warmer because the cold/warm front boundaries Will be closer inland to have more moisture for more snow and denser snow.
