Hey all, I have a 2005 F350 with the 6.0 powerstroke.
A friend of mine just got rid of his 2010 Duramax, but he kept the tuner. I have a shot at picking this tuner up cheap. Now we have not talked price or anything yet, so I am not too attached to the idea yet.
IF I get this tuner will it work on my truck? If it will, what do I have to do to the tuner to make it compatible with my powerstroke?
Sorry but I don't know what tuner it is, just that it is a newer Bullydog.
pass on it unless you get it for nothing, then sell it on craigslist.
a bullydog is a generic one size fits all tune.
you would be much better getting custom tunes on a chip for your ford.
and i really don't think you can swap tuners between truck brands anyway.
Thanks for the input. The only thing I am looking for is a little better fuel mileage. The truck has all of the power I need for what I do. I also like the monitoring abilities from some of the tuners.
