Howdy Nor Cal. About to head down to the sport bar to watch my Steelers dismantle the Broncos in the game of the week. Time to avenge that playoff game where we got "Tebowed" or debacled or whatever you want to call it in 2012.
My brother went with me yesterday to Richmond, which is about an hour and a half north of me. We picked up a straight-as-an-arrow fender for the Pelican and a couple of straight side trim pieces. The guy claims to have parted out 500 Falcons and Comets over the past 40 years. Even if it was really half that, he's got a LOT of sheetmetal in all forms there. Was fun to pick through his stuff. Almost bought a quarter panel but it was pretty rough. I wish I'd cut the quarters off the straight parts car I bought and drove home for fifty bucks in about 1992 or so. Oh well. Stopped by the Emeryville Marina and went into the restaurant at the end of the jetty. Fantastic view of SF bay/bridge/etc but was now a Chinese food place? Oh well. Rob and I were powering down Asahi's like they were going out of business enjoying the view. Packed restaurant, we were the only ones drinkin'! LOL, good times.
Oh, and Stewart- just walked Smokie to the park where there was another blue heeler running around. Smokes was in love.

On any non-game day it would take 1 hour & 15 minutes to drive up to Levi Stadium from my house here in Seaside. On game day, if I leave by 9:30/10 o'clock I can be up, parked, and walking to the stadium by 11/11:30ish.
Depending on how close to kickoff I cut it, the drive can take over 2 hours to get to the parking lot.
For the pre-season Dallas game I couldn't get out of town until almost 11 o'clock. As we were walking up the stadium stairs, the ball was kicked and the game had started.

Raiders played north bay, Sf in the east bay you would not catch me driving anywhere yesterday , but by the looks of the half empty seats would have been a good day to head to the East side , for the most part we have been getting rain all day Sunday this afternoon and tonight , that's ok with me nice to finally see a green Pasture.
